Academic Performance (GPA)
Importance Level: Very HighGPA is the first thing admissions officers look at to evaluate a student. Your transcript and the difficulty of your courses are core indicators of your ability to succeed in a university environment. A strong transcript shows consistent performance, especially in subjects related to your chosen major or the school's focus areas. Since U.S. universities might not be familiar with the ranking of Vietnamese high schools, your transcript (or recommendation letter) should clearly indicate your ranking within your class and school.
